What is philosophy?

Everybody feels the definition of philosophy. The reason for my choice of the word 'feels' is the fact that very little people know the exact definition, however a lot of people feel what it is and feel what role it plays in one's life (usually). Nonetheless, I do not reject the possible existence of ignorant people without an even close perception of philosophy. Returning to the original purpose of this intro of the essay, let's define philosophy.

Philosophy, (from Greek, by way of Latin, philosophia, “love of wisdom”) the rational, abstract, and methodical consideration of reality as a whole or of fundamental dimensions of human existence and experience. [https://www.britannica.com]

Here we can conclude an important point. One's philosophy is derived from one's wisdom (as philosophia is "love of wisdom") and perception (as a tool for obtaining wisdom and transforming it into philosophy, or vice versa). Wisdom is built up from a person's experience and knowledge (which we can probably view as a part of the person's gained experience). Thus, a person gains experience, then builds it up and breaks down into groups, forming wisdom and perception of reality, and after that organises the wisdom and perception of reality (and customises it over time after the organisation is done) into a system, which would be philosophy. Also, it is important to consider the reason I wrote 'vice versa', previously describing perception. I wrote it down because it was wrong to ignore the fact that using and obtaining an already formed philosophy by history, family, surrounding groups, etc. is an integral part of the process of gaining experience (thus, building and forming wisdom and perception of reality out of it later).

All of this brings us to an important point, which is wrong to ignore. All above mentioned means nobody's philosophy is exclusively based on one's personal experience of the world (if not view the perceiving of other's philosophies as a personal experience).

Long story short, philosophy is one's way of reacting to a certain situation, using gained wisdom and a way to percept the reality (both of which are gained by processing and evaluating experience). A bonus conclusion is that there is no correct philosophy or way of percepting reality :)
